Reuben Abati Offered Bail



Reuben AbatiFormer presidential spokesman, Dr Reuben Abati, has been offered administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).



A source within the commission told Channels Television on Thursday evening that the former spokesman was offered bail on the conditions that he submit his travelling passport and provide a surety who must be a top civil servant.

But it is not clear whether the detained journalist would be able to meet the bail conditions immediately.
