But sources say the divorce battle is far from over.
Brad and Angelina have reached a legal agreement about the custody of their six kids, according to Jolie’s rep, but sources close to the couple claim their battle is far from over.
“We can confirm that childcare professionals have encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago,” Jolie’s rep said in a statement. “In accordance with this agreement, the six children will stay in their mother’s custody, and the children will continue therapeutic visits with their father. This has been determined by childcare professionals to be in the children’s best interest.
“We are not in a position to discuss the details. We hope now that it is clear that the events which led to the dissolution filing involved minor children and their wellbeing, there will be understanding of the sensitivity of the family situation. We believe that all sides are committed to healing the family and ask for your consideration during this difficult time.”

Now, a source close to the situation claims the arrangement is “not meant as a permanent custody agreement,” but rather an “independent step Pitt and Jolie agreed to while they attempt to work on a more permanent settlement,” PEOPLE reports.

As Radar readers know, the shocking split stemmed from an alleged incident that took place between a boozed-up Pitt and one of the kids on a private plane on September 14, 2016 .
Pitt was blindsided by the divorce filing, which, Jolie claimed in a statement, was done “for the health of the family.”

A temporary custody plan was established last month, requiring Pitt to meet with his children only under supervision, and to undergo voluntary drug and alcohol testing.
Yesterday, a source close to the Hollywood couple claimed Jolie would attempt to maintain her primary physical custody “until he gets his s**t together.”
