7 Things Women With Super Fabulous Skin Do Before Going To Bed

One thing I have noticed is some women don’t cleanse their skin before going to LA LA land.

I asked a lady once why she never cleanse her akin before bed and her reply was “I don’t have pimples”. I explained to her why taking care of the skin is very important.

Dry skin, oily skin, normal skin, combination skin, whether you have blemishes or not, taking care of your akin is necessary.

Regular skin care helps you reduce and prevent skin blemishes, slow down aging process of the skin and gives you brighter and younger skin.

Your bedtime skin care routine is helps you achieve a glowing skin when you wake up.

Your skin heals when you sleep.

Follow these bedtime routine to get clear skin

Cleanse Your Skin

This is really important, but sometimes it is easy for you to simply fall into bed without taking the time to clear away the dirt and grime of the day.

If you have oily skin, use a cleanser with salicylic or glycolic acid.

Remove all makeup
Cleansing alone does not always remove all your makeup.

Use a small amount of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) about the size of a pea or olive oil, and smooth it across your eyelids and through your lashes.

Then with a cotton pad, wipe the makeup off.

Exfoliate

Exfoliate only two or three times a week; more often can dry your skin.

Exfoliation helps shed off those dead skin cells that make your skin dull and rough.

Moisturize

Moisturizing your face should always come after a cleansing and exfoliation. When you wash your face, you wash away essential oils and moisturizing your skin helps replenish it.

If you have oily skin, go for a moisturizer that is water based and meant for your skin type.

Apply a toner

Make sure you are using a toner that is specifically made for your skin type. For example, those with dry or normal skin shouldn’t use toners that contain alcohol or it can irritate or dry your skin.

Toners help to remove any extra makeup and cleanser still on your face.

Sleep on your back
Pushing your face into your pillow or sleeping sideways can contribute to wrinkles and creases. Try sleeping on your back.

Switch to silk pillowcases
Your facial skin will be tugged and pulled. This depens on the position you sleep in and how much you move around in your sleep.

Silk pillowcases don’t pull on your skin.
